Dr Ian Anderson is well-known in the Ottawa chiropractic community. He has been practicing as a chiropractor in the Ottawa area for over 25 years. He earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Memorial Chiropractic College in 1996, following completion of his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo in 1992. Dr. Anderson’s reputation for working hard for his patients to treat the root cause of their conditions is impressive. His clinical focus includes but is not limited to, the treatment of chronic musculoskeletal and occupational injuries. His patients experience relief from whiplash, headache, repetitive strain, and sports injuries under his care. He is known in his patient circles as the ‘go-to spine and knee guy’. Dr. Anderson uses a blend of gentle treatments such as laser, soft tissue technique, microcurrent, neuromuscular electrical stimulation, manual therapy, exercise therapy, shockwave, and spinal decompression therapy. His practice places a special emphasis on patient education and the provision of tools to patients to make positive lifestyle changes. He believes that by involving patients in their treatment, control over the best results will be in the patient’s corner. Ian and his wife Janice have 3 daughters. When not found at the local hockey rink being the “number one fan” for his competitive hockey-playing children, he enjoys a good game of golf and a variety of leisure activities.
